The 2019 Camden Jacaranda Festival will be held from Friday 22 – Sunday 24 November within the Camden Town Centre.
This weekend long program celebrates Camden in spring as we enter the festive season.
Friday Night Live – DAY ONE
Friday 22nd November
Local artist will perform in venues on Argyle St in the evening.

Jacaranda Experience – DAY TWO
Saturday 23rd November
The main event – the Camden Jacaranda Experience will be held on Saturday 23 November from 4pm – 9.30pm and includes a variety of local stalls, live performances on stage, a visit from Santa and the turning on of the Camden community Christmas tree and Jacaranda fairy lights.
Argyle St Camden
Argyle Street and parts of John Street and Oxley Street in Camden will be closed to cars and filled with stalls and pedestrians as well as two stages, centred around the huge Camden Christmas Tree and the Jacarandas and fireworks at night.
The Camden Experience – DAY THREE
Sunday 24th November
A unique opportunity to experience Camden’s stunning jacarandas, gardens and historical buildings up close and personal.
Fantastic Instagram and photo opprotunities through guided wlkabout tours or on your own self guided tours.
Enjoy a refreshing drink and meal at on of our distinctive restaurants or cafes.

Road Closure
There is no road closure for Friday or Sunday of the festival.
Saturday 23rd November 2019
The following road closures and detours will be in effect between 10am and 11.30pm;
Argyle Street – Elizabeth Street to Murray Street;
Oxley Street – Argyle to the Woolworths car park entry;
John Street – Argyle Street to Mitchell Street;
Hill Street – Argyle Street to car park entry;
Murray Street – will remain open but have one lane closed to stop right turn onto Argyle Street.
Please note: Due to special event clearway, vehicles will not be permitted to park on Argyle Street from 10am. Any vehicles parked within this area may be towed.

To ensure buses are not affected during this period a number of temporary bus stops will also be placed around the town centre in the following locations;
Elizabeth Street (opposite The Royal Hotel);
Cnr John and Mitchell Streets (both sides);
Parking
Friday:
Parking as normal.
Saturday:
No parking is available on Argyle St.
Parking will not be permitted on Argyle Street and other closure areas during the road closure period.Parking is available at all the other usual public parking areas in Camden.
Additional parking is available at the Camden Bicentennial Equestrian Park, Rotary Cowpastures Reserve, Onslow Park.There is additional Disabled Parking in Elizabeth St.
Sunday:
Parking as normal.
Train
The nearest train station to Camden is Campbelltown. You can catch a bus from Campbelltown Station to Camden – please check bus timetables before you leave.
Weather
We are an all weather festival.
There are plenty of under cover areas if there happens to be rain for our market day on Saurday.
We will take appropriate action in the unlikely event that there is serious weather.
