About the Camden Jacaranda Festival
The Camden Jacaranda Festival celebrates the unique town of Camden, our community & of course, our iconic Jacarandas.
This is a free event where the local businesses, the Argyle Street Business Collective and Camden Council (Event Partner) invite our community and visitors to enjoy what our town has to offer.
22, 23, 24 November 2019
- FRIDAY–Friday Night Live: a diverse showcase of free live music at different venues throughout our lovely town.
- SATURDAY–The Jacaranda Experience with specialty market stalls, entertainment, food, Santa, Fireworks, Christmas Tree Lighting, Jacaranda Tree Fairy lights, plus more.
- SUNDAY–The Camden Experience take a guided or self guided tour of prominent jacarandas in the area with stunning photo opportunities. Enjoy a meal at one of our many wonderful cafes and restaurants. Have a picnic in one of our picturesque parks.
The Argyle Street precinct businesses will be open, as well as special market stalls on the street, during the highlight of the festival – the Jacaranda Experience (Saturday).

The Camden Jacaranda Festival has been developed by local businesses from The Argyle Street Business Collective.
The focus is on local businesses and our surrounding community.
The specific intention in designing and delivering the “Camden Jacaranda Festival” is to showcase both our fabulous town and the people that comprise the fabric of it.

Camden should celebrate its beautiful purple jacaranda blossoms with an annual festival, residents say.
Born and raised in Camden, resident Michelle Schofield said a festival in honour of the jacarandas would boost the region’s economy.
